Moksha in Code

PerlBoy talks about the chapter Basics of Unix Philosophy in the book The Art of Unix Programming. I think the chapter is excellent and I should read the text of the chapter to myself every morning, like other people read religious scriptures to themselves. Religious texts explain what a good human being should do, while the above mentioned chapter describes what a good programmer should do. The rules if followed strictly would help us achieve enlightment, and attain moksha in code, the at-onement with the ultimate reality of programming, the state of limitless consciousness and bliss.
