Windows Media Encoder

You can use Windows Media Encoder to create screencasts, i.e. videos of your interactions with software running on your computer with some narration. From a developer’s perspective, it’s a nice tool to quickly demo what you’ve been working on to someone else. The tool is free and very easy to use, but anyway here’s a quick tutorial by Dominic.
