The questions...

  • So what did you say your name is?
  • Where are you from?
  • What's your educational background?
  • What's your total work experience and where do you work currently?

No these are not the questions from a job interview but the questions I have been answering lately while looking for an apartment and a roommate in Bellevue.

Well what do you know, someone might even say - "Hey I have a puzzle for you, let's see how you solve it" :)

Recalled a quote from Richard bach's Illusions:
The simplest questions are the most profound.

Where were you born?
Where is your home?
Where are you going?
What are you doing?

Think about these once in awhile, and watch your answers change.

yes man!
you're going through exactly what I went through...dizzyness!

people there sure do seem excited, esp. when you're from somewhere they know little about...sheesh, I was first asked "Did you travel on elephants?"

@alpha0: Hmmm... interesting. But why would your answer to "Where were you born?" change over time. Not trying to be nitpicky here but asking that to know, you know, if there's a deeper meaning to it.

@abhas1: Dude! These questions are from desies.
