Version Controlled Life

Here is how you can keep your entire life in CVS, and here is how you can keep your entire life in Subversion.

Basically, you check-in all your files - mails, documents, pictures, mp3s and what-not, into a version control system and check them out from the version-control system onto whatever machine you're on.

So, you have access to your data everywhere and you can easily see old versions of whatever files you need to, for whatever reason you might have, whenever you want.

Interesting concept!

Why cant we have a software running in background that keeps on commiting our files automatically into repository on every change?

Thanks,

Yup, you can have something that keeps doing this automagically!
